ORDINANCE NO. 581!'2 -75' <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $25,000.00 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT CONMONLY REFERRED TO <br />AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC <br />SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of <br />Public Safety to administer certain public safety programs and to <br />insure the department's ability to properly perform its functions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $25,000.00 is hereby approp- <br />riated from ti— i Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as <br />the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to <br />be administered by the Department of Public Safety and will be <br />distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA 41 "Foot Patrol and Stake -Out" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Services Personal 130.0 Extra and Overtime 25,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
