Stancati <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />SUBJECT: Ordinance for Purchase of Chemicals <br />The Bureau of Water is presenting an Ordinance to the Common <br />Council for the purchase of chemicals for use by the Water Works from <br />May 1, 1976 to April 30, 1977 in the amount of $49,550.50. Said chemicals <br />are to be used for purification of water and additives beneficial to health. <br />Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Indiana <br />and were found competitive. The Contract was awarded to (1.) Inland <br />Chemical Company, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and; (2.) Watcon, Incorporated, <br />South Bend, Indiana, by the Board of Water Works Commissioners on the 3rd <br />day of May, 1976, as being the lowest and best bids.
