ORDINANCE NO. 5- 8 aG -'J S AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,500.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. WHEREAS, additional.funds are needed by the Department of Public Safety to administer certain public safety programs and to insure.the Department's ability to properly perform its.functions during the year of 1975. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: SECTION I. That the.sum of $4,500.00 is hereby appropriated for the year of 1975 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General REVENUE Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public Safety and will be distributed as set forth below: Program FA79 "Fire Station #4 - Furnishings" Account Description Amount Equipment 721.0 Furniture & Fixtures $ 4,500.00 Total Equipment 4,500.00 Total FA79 $ 4,500.00 SECTION II.
