ORDINANCE NO.5970 -76 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $1,950,000 <br />FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER SINKING AND BUILDING <br />FUND TO PROJECT CS -21 MODEL CITIES SEWER SEPARA- <br />TION, WITHIN SAID FUND. <br />WHEREAS, engineering studies have been completed outlining needs <br />for a separated sewer system in the Model Cities area; and <br />WHEREAS, needed right -of -way acquisition has been completed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, through its Common Council and <br />Mayor, have entered into a contract with H.U.D. to build said sewer <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund has been <br />established for said expenditures, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I: That the sum of $1,950,000 be appropriated from the <br />Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the construction of the <br />Model Cities Sewer Separation. <br />SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and a tee r its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, <br />and fulfillment of all statutory requirements. <br />Approved as amended April 27, 1976 <br />
