ORDINANCE NO.5970 -76 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $1,950,000 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER SINKING AND BUILDING FUND TO PROJECT CS -21 MODEL CITIES SEWER SEPARA- TION, WITHIN SAID FUND. WHEREAS, engineering studies have been completed outlining needs for a separated sewer system in the Model Cities area; and WHEREAS, needed right -of -way acquisition has been completed; and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, through its Common Council and Mayor, have entered into a contract with H.U.D. to build said sewer project; and WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund has been established for said expenditures, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I: That the sum of $1,950,000 be appropriated from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the construction of the Model Cities Sewer Separation. SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and a tee r its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and fulfillment of all statutory requirements.
