NEMETH, Mayor <br />COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />April 7, 1976 <br />Members of the Common Council <br />441 County /City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Dear Council Members: <br />L;%juT104, <br />LU <br />v <br />IHDIANP <br />219/284 -9251 <br />I am submitting an ordinance requesting an appropriation of $6,000 <br />from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund into Other <br />Contractual Services for the Bureau of Streets. This appropriation <br />will be used to defray expenses of street cuts necessitated by sewer <br />failures and related problems, including the adjustment of castings. <br />There is presently appropriated in the MVH Account, approximately <br />$2,800 for this purpose. This amount is insufficient to provide for <br />this type of repair. <br />It is also anticipated that this money will provide for some repairs <br />to the concrete streets with which we are now experiencing extensive <br />problems. <br />Your favorable consideration of this appropriation is recommended <br />Very truly yours, <br />Rollin E.
