Members of the Common Council <br />Page Two <br />February 3, 1976 <br />part of the City create not only traffic congestion but hazardous con- <br />ditions at the intersection of Ironwood and Ridgedale Roads and Iron- <br />wood and Topsfield Roads. <br />It should also be noted that this project includes storm water retention <br />near the intersection of Ironwood and Ridgedale Roads. This will pro- <br />vide an important secondary benefit through control of drainage on one <br />of the areas contributing to Clyde Creek. <br />Construction of this project north of Ewing Avenue has not been planned <br />or programmed at this time. Work in this area will be coordinated with <br />the recently announced County intention to undertake the design of a <br />railroad grade separation at the Penn Central Railroad tracks. <br />This is a much needed improvement in this area and your favorable con- <br />sideration of this appropriation to initiate this project is recommended. <br />Very truly yours, <br />Rollin E.
