Smith, President <br />Historic Preservation Commission of <br />South Bend and St. Joseph County <br />Room 1123, County -City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />In Re: Proposed designation of property located at <br />113 West North Shore Drive, City of South Bend <br />Dear Mr. Smith: <br />We have reviewed the Historic Preservation <br />Commission's proposed designation of the above property <br />as an historic landmark, with respect to the relation- <br />ship of said property to the comprehensive plan for the <br />City of South Bend, the effect of the proposed designation <br />on the surrounding neighborhood, and other relevant <br />planning considerations. <br />We find the proposed designation to be in <br />accordance with and,to further the intent of the <br />Proposed Land Use and Transportation Plan, and we <br />would therefore return a favorable recommendation to <br />the Historic Preservation Commission. <br />RSJ /cm <br />Very truly yours, <br />Richard S.
