ORDINANCE NO. S9'7O -75- <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANAi PERTAINING TO MILEAGE ALLOWANCE <br />FOR USE OF PRIVATE VEHICLES ON CITY BUSINESS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The following section of the Municipal <br />Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be amended to read <br />as follows: <br />Sec. 2 -47 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE FOR USE OF <br />PRIVATE VEHICLES ON CITY BUSINESS. <br />There is hereby established a fixed mileage rate for <br />City officials and employees for the use of private conveyances <br />for City business for all reimbursable travel actually done and <br />for which reimbursement is to be made upon proper claim filed and <br />allowed fr-om Budget Item 215 in the amount of Fifteen Cents ($0.15) <br />per mile. <br />SECTION II.
