ORDINANCE NO,LL�t1_j(, AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Police Department to administer certain public safety programs and to ensure the depart- ment's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1976. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $30,000,00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1976 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Police Department and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 112 "FOOT PATROL" ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 130.0 Overtime $30,000.00 TOTAL FA 112 $30,000.00 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emer- gency appropriation. �r� Member of the Common Council
