ORDINANCE NO,LL�t1_j(, <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000.00 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO <br />AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC <br />SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Police Department to <br />administer certain public safety programs and to ensure the depart- <br />ment's ability to properly perform its functions during the year <br />1976. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $30,000,00 is hereby appropriated for <br />the year 1976 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known <br />as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to <br />be administered by the Police Department and will be distributed as <br />set forth below: <br />PROGRAM FA 112 "FOOT PATROL" <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />130.0 Overtime $30,000.00 <br />TOTAL FA 112 $30,000.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the <br />Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emer- <br />gency appropriation. <br />�r� <br />Member of the Common Council <br />
