ORDINANCE NO.(F©_jq-)6 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $705,000 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR HOUSING <br />REHABILITATION LOANS AND GRANTS, TO BE AD- <br />MINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH <br />ITS BUREAU OF HOUSING. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the <br />name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of <br />the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />to execute certain community development project activities to <br />preserve and rehabilitate the existing City's housing stock. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />Section I. The sum of $705,000 is hereby appropriated <br />for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend <br />Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation is <br />to be administered by the Bureau of Housing. <br />PROGRAM CD - 76 - 102 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />PURPOSE <br />AMOUNT <br />Housing Rehabilitation $705,000 <br />Loans and Grants <br />Section II.
