ORDINANCE NO. G()`A3-i(a <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $935,000 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR CONTINUATION <br />OF REDEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, TO BE ADMINISTERED <br />BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT <br />OF REDEVELOPMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the <br />name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of <br />the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />to execute certain community development project activities <br />for the revitalization of the central business district and to <br />close out existing Urban Renewal Projects. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />Section I. The sum of $935,000 is hereby appropriated <br />for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend <br />Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation is <br />to be administered by the Department of Redevelopment. <br />PROGRAM CD - 76 - 800 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />PURPOSE AMOUNT <br />Continuation of $935,000 <br />Redevelopment <br />(IND R -57 and R -66) <br />Section II.
