ORDINANCE NO.�p <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $42,434 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR PREVENTIVE <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS COSTS, TO BE <br />ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH <br />ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the <br />name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of <br />the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />to execute certain community development project activities to <br />preserve and protect our neighborhoods through structural <br />inspections and related blighting environmental influences. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />Section I. The sum of $42,434 is hereby appropriated <br />for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend <br />Community Development Block Grant Program.
