ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $87,334 FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR SUBSTANDARD DEMOLITION, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to execute certain community development project activities for clearance of substandard structures which are deteriorating, obsolete and unwanted within our community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: Section I. The sum of $87,334 is hereby appropriated for the program year starting July 7, ,976, from the South Bend Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation is to be administered by the Bureau of Substandard Buildings. PROGRAM CD - 76 - 200 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PURPOSE AMOUNT Substandard Demolition $87,334 Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
