ORDINANCE NO. 6015 -76 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $283,000 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION COSTS, TO BE <br />ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the <br />name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of <br />the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />to execute certain community development project activities <br />and to provide funds to administer the overall Community <br />Development Block Grant Program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows; <br />SECTION I. The sum of $283,000 is hereby appropriated <br />for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend <br />Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation is <br />to be administered by the Department of Human Resources. <br />PROGRAM CD - 76 - 90 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />PURPOSE AMOUNT <br />Community Development <br />Salaries & Fringe $224,869 <br />Non - personnel Costs 58,131 <br />TOTAL $283,000 <br />SECTION II. All contracts above $5,000 shall be <br />submitted by the Department of Human Resources to the Common Council <br />in resolution form before any expenditure shall be appropriated. <br />SECTION III. This ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />Passed, as amended, August 23, 1976 <br />
