ORDINANCE NO, v - ?6 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $ 70, 000.00 FROM <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED <br />TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS <br />FIRE EQUIPMENT, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS BUREAU OF FIRE <br />SAFETY. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Bureau of Fire Protection <br />to insure the Department's ability to properly perform its function during the <br />year of 1976. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That the sum of $70, 000.00 is hereby appropriated for the <br />year of T9776 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the <br />General Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by <br />the Bureau of Fire Protection and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA 106 "Fire Equipment" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Properties 722.0 Motor Equipment 70, 000.00 <br />TOTAL FA 106 70, 000.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of <br />all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations. <br />Membelr f the Common Council <br />
