ORDINANCE NO.6009 -76 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. <br />5991 -76 FIXING THE ANNUAL PAY OF <br />POLICEMEN FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1977 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, as follows: <br />SECTION 1. Delete Section 2 in its entirety. Substitution <br />thereof: <br />Any individual officer who through this ordinance would re- <br />ceive less salary during the year 1977, excluding items covered <br />in Section 3 of this ordinance, than he did during the year 1976 <br />for the same rank shall be compensated at a level commensurate with <br />the 1976 level. <br />SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />r <br />Passed, as amended, August 9, 1976. <br />
