ORDINANCE NO. EGGS- %fe <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR VARIOUS DEVELOPMENT <br />DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend has received a grant <br />from the Department of Housing and Urban Development under <br />the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and <br />WHEREAS, the application for such funds allocated <br />funding for various Redevelopment Department programs. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend: <br />SECTION I. Expenditures for the following redevelopment <br />rehabilitation programs are approved in accordance with the <br />budgets stated: <br />Project R -66 and the LaSalle Park Project R -57 <br />for Contractual Services ..................$200,000 <br />SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />I signed only to provide an <br />opportc.ity for rvblic discussion <br />and CoUftcil action on the issue., <br />
