ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $ 3, 000.00 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY <br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, <br />FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE <br />ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />THROUGH ITS FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Fire Department to <br />administer certain public safety programs and to insure the department's <br />ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1976. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $ 3, 000.00 is hereby appropriated for the <br />year 1976 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the <br />General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered <br />by the Fire Department and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA 105 <br />"Repair of Snorkel" <br />Account Amount <br />Equipment Repairs 252.0 800.00 <br />Repair Parts 430.0 2,200.00 <br />Total FA 105 3,000.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and <br />the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriation. <br />Ala, &4V Aw ' <br />Me be of the Common Council <br />
