ORDINANCE NO. (o t l D - -7 7 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 15 -16 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />SECTION 1: Subdivision (2) of Subsection (a), <br />Section 15 -16 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended to read as follows: <br />"(2) Mileage rates: Seventy -five Cents ($0.75) <br />for the first one -fifth (1/5) of a mile or <br />fraction thereof; thereafter, Ten Cents ($0.10) <br />for each additional one -sixth (1/6) of a mile <br />or fraction thereof; and," <br />SECTION 2: Section 15 -16 of the Municipal Code <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by the addition thereto of <br />the following new subdivision (5): <br />11(5) Between the hours of Seven (7) o'clock <br />p.m. and Five (5) o'clock a.m. the operator of <br />a taxicab may charge Fifty Cents ($0.50) per <br />trip in addition to the rates of fare provided <br />for under subdivisions (1) through (4) of this <br />subsection (a)." <br />SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force <br />and effect from and after its passage by the Common <br />Council and approved by the Mayor. <br />Meptbe f of the Common Council <br />I signed cnZ to pr ; *ido an <br />and Council action on t,',e issne. <br />
