ORDINANCE N0, (S 6 -7 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,000.00 FROM THE CUMU- LATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND, LINE ITEM 260.0, $418,000.00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND, AND $275,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO PROJECT R & S 68, IRONWOOD DRIVE IM- PROVEMENTS, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROADS AND STREETS FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands, to provide the safe and efficient movement of vehicles to and from adjacent businesses, and to provide positive control of storm drainage, certain improvements have been proposed for Ironwood Drive from Edison Road north to State Road 23. Funds are now needed to pay the cost of land acquisition and the cost of the construction of these improvements. These funds are available from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund, Local Road and Street Fund, and the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for these purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: That the following sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund, Local Road and Street Fund, and the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the project in the amounts set forth below: PROJECT NO.
