ORDINANCE NO. (o b q S —'7 7 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $18,000 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS CODE ENFORCEMENT ° PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF LAW. WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of Law to enforce the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend with regard to public safety, environmental protection, the public health and welfare and zoning purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: SECTION I. That the sum of $18,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year o 1977 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Funds. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Law and will be distributed as set forth below.
