ORDINANCE NO, -6 _ <, <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF <br />$46, 000.00 TO ACCOUNT NO. 510.0 "INSURANCE" <br />WITHIN THE BUREAU OF STREETS BUDGET OF <br />THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the <br />adoption of the existing budget in the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, so that it <br />is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the original <br />budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary <br />conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to establish Account Number 510.0 <br />within the Bureau of Streets budget, in the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund to assure <br />that department's ability to properly perform its functions; and <br />WHEREAS, an unappropriated surplus exists in the Motor Vehicle Highway <br />Fund; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. <br />be o—T w <br />Account NO. <br />510.0 <br />That the sum of $46, 000.00 be appropriated as set forth <br />Establish the following account: <br />Description <br />Insurance <br />Amount <br />$ 46, 000.00 <br />SECTION II.
