ORDINANCE NO. 6066 -76 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NEW ACCOUNT, 724 <br />"RADIO EQUIPMENT" AND TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF <br />$600.00 FROM ACCOUNT 215 "CAR ALLOWANCE" TO <br />THIS ACCOUNT, BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE <br />COMMON COUNCIL BUDGET, CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br />the adoption of the existing annual budget for the Common Council, <br />so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was <br />appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of <br />City Government, to meet such extraordinary conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Common Council to <br />establish Account 724 "Radio Equipment" to assure that department's <br />ability to perform its functions; and <br />WHEREAS, a surplus exists in other accounts where it is not <br />presently needed and more specifically as follows, to -wit: <br />Account 215 Car Allowance $ 600.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $600.00 from Account 215 "Car Allow- <br />ance" be transferred to the following account: <br />Account 724 Radio Equipment $ 600.00 <br />The above accounts are within the Common Council Budget of the General <br />Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by <br />the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements. <br />Passed, as amended, October 25, 1976 <br />
