ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,180 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPART- MENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Additional funds are needed by the Department of Employment and Training to administer certain public works programs and to ensure the Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1977; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $12,180 is hereby appropriated for the_year 1977 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Employment and Training and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 129 SUMMER ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP PROGRAM TOTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION $12,180.00 SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from�andl after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriation.
