ORDINANCE NO. 6220 -77 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,000 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS <br />TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND <br />FINANCE. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Additional funds are needed by the Department of Law to <br />administer certain programs and to enhance the Department's <br />ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1977. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $5,000 is hereby appropriated for <br />the year 1977, from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly <br />known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropri- <br />ation is to be administered by the Department of Administration <br />and Finance and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />PROGRAM FA 137 <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE - REHABILITATION <br />Account Description Amount <br />250 Other Contractual Services $5,000.00 <br />Total FA 137 <br />$5,000.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the <br />Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency <br />appropriations. <br />Passed, as amended, September 12, 1977 <br />
