HARMAN, <br />CAREY& MURRAY <br />2318 Elwood <br />South Bend, IN <br />ORDINANCE NO. ..L_A l j - 7 7 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, <br />AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />ORDIANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />(Chapter 21, Municipal Code). <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 4990 -68, as amended, which <br />ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order <br />that the zoning classification of the following described real <br />estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of <br />Indiana: <br />A part of the West Half (1/2) of the Northeast Quarter <br />(1/4) of Section 3, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, <br />described as beginning at the Southwest corner of the <br />intersection of Elwood Avenue and the first alley East <br />of Olive Street in the City of South Bend, which point <br />is 154.61 feet East of and 25 feet South of the North- <br />west corner of said Northeast Quarter (1/4) of said <br />Section 3; running thence South 183.2 feet along the <br />Westerly line of said alley to a point 40 feet North <br />of the Northeast corner of Lot 324 in Mayr's Michigan <br />Avenue Addition; thence West on a line parallel with <br />the North line of said Lot 324 in Mayr's Michigan <br />Avenue Addition a distance of 130 feet to the Easterly <br />line of Olive Street; thence North along the Easterly <br />line of Olive Street a distance of 183.2 feet to the <br />intersection of Olive Street and Elwood Avenue; thence <br />Easterly along the Southerly line of Elwood Avenue <br />a distance of 130 feet to the place of beginning. <br />be and the same is hereby established as "C" Commercial and "A" <br />Height and Area District. <br />Section 2.
