JOHNSON <br />Executive Director <br />(219) 284 -9571 <br />August 17, 1977 <br />In Re: A proposed ordinance and site development plan of <br />Gold Rush - South Bend, Inc. to zone from "C" <br />Commercial, "A" Height and Area, to "C" Commercial, <br />"A" Height and Area, for a change in the site plan, <br />property located at 1311 East Ireland Road, City <br />of South Bend <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached rezoning petition of Gold Rush - South <br />Bend, Inc. was legally advertised August 6, 1977. The Area <br />Plan Commission gave it a public hearing on August 16, 1977 <br />at which time the following action was taken: <br />"Upon a motion by Earl Kime, being seconded by <br />Joseph Serge and unanimously carried, the petition <br />of Gold Rush, - South Bend, Inc. to zone from "C" <br />"Commercial, "A" Height and Area, for a change in <br />the site plan, property located at 1311 East <br />Ireland Road, City of South Bend, is returned <br />to the Common Council with a favorable <br />recommendation, subject to a final site plan <br />and the posting of bonds for the required <br />traffic signal." <br />The above recommendation is made subject to a final <br />site plan and the preliminary site plan is attached hereto, <br />If the Council should rezone this site, it shall <br />have'to be subject to the submission of a final site plan. <br />The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and <br />points considered in arriving at the above decision are shown <br />of the R�,S fl fC�nC public hearing and will be forwarded to <br />A"ttE <br />ftrVirir�;,, South.Am4NDLakeville, New Carlisle, North Liberty, Roseland & St. Joseph, County, /N <br />
