(E,a ii • 7 7 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL <br />ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY KNOWN AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS TO BE <br />ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH THE <br />BUREAU OF POLICE. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Additional funds are needed by the Bureau of Police to <br />administer certain programs -and to ensure the Department's ability <br />to properly perform its functions during the year 1977: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $8,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the year 1977 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly <br />known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation <br />is to be administered by the Bureau of Police and will be distributed <br />as set forth below: <br />PROGRAM FA 136 <br />BUREAU OF POLICE MEDICAL EXPENSES <br />_Account Description Amount <br />Contractual 262.0 Medical, Surgical, Dental $8,000.00 <br />Total Budget Appropriation $8,000.00 <br />SEC_TI_ON II.
