PERSONNEL & FINANCE <br />AUGUST 12.2013 4:30 P.M. <br />Committee Members Present: Dr. David Varner, Valerie Schey, Karen White, Henry Davis (AB) <br />Citizen Members Present: Marc Brammer, Jack Smith <br />Other Council Present: Tim Scott, Dr. Fred Ferlic, Oliver Davis, Gavin Ferlic, Derek Dieter <br />Others Present: Dave Nufer, Erin Blasko, Howard Feldman, SBFD Chief Steve Cox, Mark Neal, <br />John Murphy <br />Agenda: Bill No# 33 -13 Transfer Departments <br />Bill No# 34 -13 Appropriations Departments <br />Bill No# 35 -13 Appropriations Enterprise Funds <br />Dr. David Varner, Chair of the Personnel & Finance Committee with a quorum present called the <br />meeting to order with three bills up for review. They were bill 33 -13, bill 34 -13 and bill 35 -13. <br />As City Controller Mark Neal explained these bills were the result of mid -year review of each <br />department's budgets. The required mid -year adjustments were reflected in these bills. <br />The Controller's presentation prompted some discussion, primarily the enterprise fund appropriations <br />for the costly CSO project mandated by the EPA. Mark promised a CSO project update.
