Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement with the Board of Public Works (Crooked Ewe <br />Sidewalk Project) <br />(2) Resolution No. 3175 appointing members to the Ignition Park Architectural Review <br />Board. <br />Mr. Kain noted that on December 13, 2010, the South Bend Common Council approved the <br />Ignition Park PUD which requires the formation of the Ignition Park Architectural Review <br />Board (ARB). The ARB consists of five members, four of which are appointed by the <br />Commission and one by the Common Council. Members are appointed annually. <br />The four Commission appointees are: <br />1. Director of Ignition Park <br />2. Executive Director of Community Investment <br />3. Two (2) citizen members <br />The attached Resolution No. 3175 appoints two citizen members to the Ignition Park <br />Architecture Review Board. The members are Eric Horvath, Director of Public Works for <br />the City of South Bend and Doug Marsh, Vice President and University Architect for the <br />University of Notre Dame du Lac. Staff requests approval of Resolution No. 3175. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by Mr. Inks and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 3175 appointing members Doug Marsh and Eric <br />Horvath to the Ignition Park Architectural Review Board. <br />(3) Resolution No. 3170 setting a public hearing on the appropriation of Certified <br />Technology Park revenues for the payment of certain obligations and expenses related <br />to their respective allocation areas and other related matters. <br />Ms. Leonard -Ins noted that this as another fund that requires Commission appropriation. <br />Resolution No. 3170 sets a public hearing on the appropriation of the state Certified <br />Technology Park revenues. Mr. Varner asked where the revenue to Fund 439 comes from. <br />Ms. Leonard -Inks responded that is comes from the Certified Technology Bond which has a <br />total of $5 million over a time period in which half will be used at Notre Dame. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by Ms. Schey and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 3170 setting a public hearing for 9:30 a.m., October <br />10, 2013, on the appropriation of Certified Technology Park revenues for the payment of <br />certain obligations and expenses related to their respective allocation areas and other related <br />matters. <br />
