ORDINANCE NO. 1,,Q-20-22. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BUREAU OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND DON MEDOW MOTORS, INC., SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE PUR- CHASE OF CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLES IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $11,433.34. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: To approve the purchase of motor vehicles as purchase of same is re- quired in the operation of the Bureau of Water. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the Contract entered into between the Bureau of Water of South Bend, Indiana, and Don Medow Motors, Inc., South Bend, Indiana, on the 7th day of November, 1977, pursuant to advertising and receipt of bid, in a total quantity and a total cost not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized in the amount of $11,433.34, is hereby approved and confirmed: 3 - 1978 A.M.C. Concord, 4 -door Sedan, Model #057 $12,683.34 TRADE INS: 1971 AMC Hornet 1973 Chevrolet Malibu 1971 Plymouth Fury - 1,250.00 TOTAL $11,433.34 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
