The property generally located <br />west of Maple`Road (Bendix Dr.), <br />south of Cleveland Road, and <br />north of the Chicago -South <br />Shore and South Bend Railroad. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2,7 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, <br />AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />(Chapter 21, Municipal Code). <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 4990 -68, as amended, which ordinance is <br />commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />be and the same is hereby amended in order that the zoning classification <br />of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. <br />Joseph County, State of Indiana: <br />A parcel of land in the East Half of the East Half of Section 28, <br />Township 38 North, Range 2 East, German Township, St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the East line of said <br />Section 28 and the South right -of -way line of Cleveland <br />Road; thence Northwest and West along said South right- <br />of-way line to the West line of the East Half of the East <br />Half of said Section 28; thence South along said West <br />line, being parallel with and 660 feet West of the East <br />line of said Section 28, 2398.,97 feet to the East -West <br />centerline of said Section 28; thence West along said <br />East -West centerline 330 feet; thence South along aline,. <br />being parallel with and 990 feet West of the.East line of <br />said Section 28, to the centerline of the Chicago -South <br />Shore and South Bend Railroad; thence East and Southeast <br />along said centerline of Railroad to the East line of said <br />Section 28; thence North along said East line to the place <br />of beginning. <br />A parcel of land in the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter <br />of Section 27, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, German Township, <br />St. Joseph County, Indiana, described as follows: <br />A parcel of land bounded by a line on the Southeast by <br />Maple Road (Bendix Drive), on the Northeast by Cleveland <br />Road and on the West by the West line of said Section 27. <br />be and the same is hereby established as "D" Light Industrial, "A Height <br />and Area use district. <br />Section 2.
