ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $3,500.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, C014D40NLY KNOWN AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH THE BUREAU OF POLICE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Additional funds are needed by the Bureau of Police to administer certain programs and to ensure the Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1977. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $3,500.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1977 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Bureau of Police and will be distributed as set forth below: BUREAU OF POLICE MEDICAL EXPENSES Account Description Amount Contractual 262.0 Medical, Surgical $3,500.00 and Dental Total Budget Appropriation $3,500.00 SECTION II.
