PAGE 2 <br />POLICE ORDINANCE <br />FOR 1978 CON'T. <br />(c) For night incentive and hazard pay, $300 <br />per year. <br />(d) Each officer shall be paid a Gun and I.D. <br />Allowance (G.I.D.) of one hundred dollars ($100) per year. The <br />G.I.D. allowance shall be paid to each sworn officer on or before <br />July 15, 1978. <br />SECTION III. The Common Council recommends that <br />the sworn members of the Police Department clothing allowance be <br />$325 per year. The clothing allowance shall be paid to each sworn <br />officer on or before July 15, 1978. <br />SECTION IV. The Common Council recommends that <br />the advancement of rank from Patrolman First Class to Corporal be <br />after three (3) complete years upon satisfactory performance of <br />duty and promotion by the Board of Safety. <br />SECTION V.
