NEMETH, Mayor <br />COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />June 20, 1977 <br />Members of the Common Council <br />441 County /City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Dear Councilmen: <br />The accompanying ordinance for $50,000 from the 1977 Community <br />Development Grant Fund is being requested in order to fund curb <br />and sidewalk replacement activities within the Community Develop- <br />ment impact areas. <br />219/284 -9251 <br />This program is proposed to be a continuation of the Curb and <br />Sidewalk Replacement Program currently being formulated within the <br />Department of Public Works. It is proposed that this program will <br />fund on a 50 per cent basis the improvements requested by property <br />owners in compliance with the guidelines established by the Board <br />of Public Works. <br />Your favorable consideration is requested. <br />Ver ul y yours, <br />atrick M.
