ORDINANCE NO. 6321 -78 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $58,431.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING GRANT FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF A.DMINIS TRATION AND FINANCE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Additional funds are needed to administer certain pro - grams:a..nd to insure the city's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1978. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $58,431.00 is hereby ap- propriated for the year 1978 from the General Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Depart- ment of Administration and Finance and will be distributed as set forth below: ACCOUNT 722.0 PROGRAM FA 149 POLICE DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Motor Equipment TOTAL FA 149 AMOUNT $58,431.00 $58,431 00 SECTION II. Twelve (12) cars which are to be replaced under the terms of this ordinance, shall be disposed of by the Board of Public Works by the end of 1978. SECTION III.
