<br />In Re: A proposed ordinance and site development plan of Von Blankenbaker,
<br />Blankenbaker Associates, to zone from "B" Residential, "A" Height and
<br />Area, to "C -2" Planned Commercial -, "D" Height and Area, property
<br />located between Ardmore Trail, Bendix Drive, Prast Boulevard, and
<br />Wellington Street; from "B" Residential, "A" Height and Area, to "C"
<br />Commercial, "D" Height and Area, property located between Ardmore Trail,
<br />Wellington Street and Prast Boulevard; from "B" Residential, "A" Height
<br />and Area, to "E" Industrial, "C" Height and Area, property located between
<br />Ardmore Trail, Prast Boulevard and Bendix Drive to a depth of 160 feet
<br />south of Prast Boulevard, City of South Bend
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />The attached rezoning petition of Von Blankenbaker, Blankenbaker Associates,
<br />was legally advertised January 7, 1978. The Area Plan Commission gave it a
<br />public hearing on January 17, 1978, at which time the following action was taken:
<br />"Upon a motion by Joseph-serge,., being secpnded by Earl K%me, and carried,
<br />with June Stratton voting Nay, the petition of "Von Blankenbaker,
<br />Blankenbaker Associates; as amended, to zone from "B" Residential,
<br />"A" Height and Area, to "C-2" Planned Commercial, "D" Height and Area,
<br />property located between Ardmore Trail, Bendix Drive, Prast Bouleyard
<br />and Wellington street.; from "B 1" Residential,, "A" Height and Area, to
<br />"C" Commercial, "D" Height and Area, property located between Ardmore
<br />Trail, Wellington Street and Prast Boulevard,, from "B" Residential,
<br />"A" Height and Area, and "E" Heavy Tndus:trial to "E" Heavy Industrial,,
<br />"C" Height and Area, property, located between Ardmore Trail,, Bendix Drive
<br />and south of Prast Boulevard, City of South Bend, is returned to the.
<br />Common Council with a favorable recommendation, subject to a, final
<br />site plan, a landscape and screening plan per the zoning Ordinance
<br />requirements- for south of Ardmore Trail, west of Bendix Drive, and
<br />that part of Prast Boulevard adjacent to residential; a traffic and
<br />signal plan to be approved by the City Engineer;"
<br />The above recommendation is made subject to a final site plan and the
<br />preliminary site plan is attached hereto,
