NEMETH, <br />BEND <br />Mayor <br />COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />December 13, 1977 <br />South Bend Common Council. <br />County -City Building <br />4th Floor Council Chambers <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Dear Members of the Common Council: <br />219/284 -9241 <br />Please find attached a proposed ordinance appropriating <br />$27,425.00 from General Revenue Sharing for the purpose of funding a <br />_continuation of the legal intern program, the salary of one Deputy <br />City Attorney as well as supplementing the salary level of Ms. Ann <br />Zmyslo whose salary level was incorrectly set in this year's budget. <br />As.you are aware, the legal intern program together with the <br />salary.of one Deputy City Attorney has been funded out of Revenue <br />Sharing for several years. In view of the continuing importance of <br />these positions to the City, we would respectfully request that <br />funding be continued. With regard to the salary of Ms. Zmyslo, her <br />salary level was incorrectly reported as $7,881.00 for the 1978 <br />budget year. Ms. Zmyslo is a Secretary III and, therefore, her sal- <br />ary should be at a level of $8,436.00 rather than $7,881.00.
