ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $20,000.00 AMONG <br />VARIOUS ACCOUNTS, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET OF THE GENERAL <br />FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br />the adoption of the existing budget for the Police Department of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, so that it is now necessary to <br />transfer monies within that budget to meet those extraordinary <br />conditions and to assure that Department's ability to properly <br />perform its functions during the year 1977. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $20,000.00 be transferred <br />between various accounts as set forth below: <br />REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT <br />Account Description Amount <br />722.0 Motor Equipment $20,000.00 <br />Total Reduction $20,000.00 <br />INCREASE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT <br />530.0 Refunds, Awards and Indemnitites $20,000.00 <br />Total Increase $20,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
