1195 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />DECEMBER 10th, 1956 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in <br />the Council Chambers, Monday, December 10th, 1956, at 8:07 P.M., with all members present. Councilman Carr, Chair- <br />man, presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />Public hearing was had on an ordinance appropriating from the General Fund $75.00 to Office Of City Judge, E -13, <br />Pauper Attorney $75.00. <br />Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to speak on this ordinance. Councilman Erler made a motion that <br />the ordinance be held in the Committee of the Whole until President Stanley Korpal and City Attorney Irving Smith <br />could meet with the Bar Associaition to clarify the situation. Councilman Christman seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Hahn made a motion to adjourn. Council- <br />man Muszynski seconded the motion.
