1113 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 26th, 1956 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in the <br />Council Chambers, Monday, November 26th, 1956, at 8:06 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Muszynski. <br />Councilman Carr, Chairman, presided. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4129 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND $2,175.00 TO POLICE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT P -331 - Gas- <br />oline, $2,000.00, AND TO OFFICE OF THE CITY JUDGE ACCOUNT E- 216 -A, Transportation Allowance - Bailiff, <br />$50.00, AND TO OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE ACCOUNT E -216 -B Transportation Allowance - Probation Officer, <br />$125.00, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR 1956, AND DECLARING AN <br />EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. <br />Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to speak on this ordinance. Councilman Korpal made a motion that <br />the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Hahn seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Hahn made a motion to adjourn. Coun- <br />cilman Glass seconded the motion.
