1131 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING MARCH 26th, 1956 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, March 26th, 1956, at 8:22 P.M., C.D.S.T. (7:22 P.M., C.S.T.), with all <br />members present except Councilman Hahn and Councilman Glass. Chairman Carr Presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />"An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Ind- <br />iana" (Lots 7, 8, and the east 33 feet of lot 6 in Herrick and Grant Addition as per petition of Charles H. <br />Gerhardt, et a1.). <br />Public hearing had been set for March 26th, 1956, and Roy E. Jones, owner of adjacent property appeared and stated <br />that he had never received a notice and asked that the public hearing be continued to April 23rd. Other property <br />owners would confer with Mr. Jones and they would retain an Attorney to represent them at the public hearing. <br />Motion by Councilman Erler that the Public hearing on the above matter be ket for April 23rd, 1956. Seconded by <br />Councilman Muszynski. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn, <br />which motion was seconded by Councilman Muszynski.
