Report of City Plan Commission` : Report from Plan Commission on petition of John Stith, et al, to zone from Light - industrial Use District to "B" Residential Use District and "B" Height and Area District Lots 61 through 68 of Kaley's First Sub- division and Lots 89 through 95 of Kaley's Second Subdivision. Report from Plan Commission on petition of Lola M. Wayt, et al, to zone property on the North Side of Mishawaka Avenue, namely lots 163 through 168 in Berner Grove First Addition from "B" Residential and "A" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial Use and "D" Height and Area District. Ordinances, First and Second Reading: An Ordinance providing for Additional personnel in the pfice of the Traffic Violations Department of South Bend and appropriating from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, the sum of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars to the Budgetary Item E -11, Services - Personal in the Budget of the City Judge. An Ordinance transferring funds in the Budget of the City Judge as follows: From E -12, Pro -tem Special Judge$- and Juries, the sum of $300.00; to E 362, Printing $50.00; to E 363 Office Supplies $25.00; to E 721 Furniture and Fixtures $225.00 An Ordinance Transferring funds in the Budget of the Health Department as follows: The Sum of $400.00 from W38, Board of Health Supplies General to W 725 Board of Health Office Equipment; the sum of $350.00 from W721 Board of ;Health_Furniture and Fixtures to,W725 Board of Health Office- Equipment. Also the transfer of funds in the Budget of the Building Department as fol- lows: The sum of $320.00 from MB721 Building Department Furniture and Fix- tures to MB725, Building Department Office Equipment. An Ordinance approving, ratifying and confirming a certain contract and agreement made and entered into by and between the City of South Bend, Ind - Aana:acting by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, and Northern Indiana Transit, Inc. its successors and assigns, which said con- tract relates to the rates charged for Bus transportation service upon cer- tain streets and highways in said City. The Chief of Police or.any member of the Police Force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this .notice on eacbt and every member of the Common Council and make due return of such service of said Special Meeting. COMMUNICATIONS: A communication from Mrs. Charles Hahn acknowledging a plant sent to Mr. William Hahn. Motion by Councilman Muszynski that the communication be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Erler. Motion carried. A Communication from Mr William Morris was read wherein he asked that the enclosed petition containing four- teen (14) signatures be attached to a petition previously presented to the Board of Public Works and Safety and referred to the Council. The above mentioned petition, containing 505 signatures, was presented to the Council and its contents noted. Motion by Councilman Erler that. the Communication be accepted and placed on file.
