COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING MARCH 14TH, 1955 A%.LI8 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting.in the Council Chamber, Monday, March 14th, 1955, at 8 :06 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Bestle. Chairman Hahn presided. ORDINANCE "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana ". (Side 'bards). Councilman Muszynski made a motion that this ordinance be referred to the Ordinance Committee for report on April 11th. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 4030 "An Ordinance amending Section 11 of Ordinance No. 3324 (As Amended) entitled "An Ordinance defining milk and certain milk products, milk producers, pasteurization, etc., prohibiting the sale of adulterated and misbranded milk and milk products, requiring permits for the sale of milk and milk products, regulating the inspection of dairy farms and milk plants, the examination, grading, labeling, placarding, pasteurization, regrading, dis- tribution, and sale of milk and milk products, providing for the publishing of milk grades, the construction of future dairies and milk plants, providing for the licensing of dairies -- retail and wholesale, distributors, the enforcement of this ordinance, and the fixing of penalties ". Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance be reported to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by Councilman Niezgodski. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
