COMbE(ITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 27TH, 1954 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting in <br />the Council Chamber, Monday, September 27th, 1954, at 8i00 P *M*, with all members present. Chairman Hahn presided. <br />ORMNANCE <br />"An Amended Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana." (Side Yard)* <br />Councilman Korpal moved that the ordinance be held up for further study* Councilman Niezgodski seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />"An Amended Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana." (Garage, private) <br />Councilman Erler moved that the ordinance be referred to the City Plan Commission for public hearing. Councilman <br />Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried• <br />ORDINANCE N0. 4007 <br />"An Ordinance transferring and appropriating from Engineering Department L -331 G&bolif.e $100.00 to Engineering <br />Department L -214 Telephone and Telegraph $100.00; from Office of Controller B -242 Printing $500.00 to Office of <br />Controller B -241 Advertising and Publication of Notices ;500900; from City Plan Commission 726 Other Equipment <br />$110.00 to City Plan Commission 55 Subscriptions and Dues $11040; from City Plan Commission 725 Office Equipment <br />$100,00 to City Plan Commission 242 Printing $100900; ftom Sanitation XX-51 Insurance and Premiums $1,000.00; <br />from, Sewer J -58 Contingencies $1,000.00; from Office of Board of Public Works H -11 Salary of Surgeon $450.00 <br />to Office of Board H -251 Repairs of Buildings and Structures $400.00; to Office of Board H -221B Eleotric-Current- <br />Buildings $1300.00 and to Office_ of Board H -214 Telephone and Telegraph $750.00; all of the budget for 1954 of <br />the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana and declaring an emergency." <br />Councilman Glass moved that the ordinance ge to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to adjourn, <br />which motion was seconded by Councilman Bestle.
