COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />MAY 10TH, 1954 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting in <br />the Council Chamber, Monday, May 10th, 1954, at 8:11 p•m., with all.members present except Councilmen Alford <br />and Pinter. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 3978 <br />"An Ordinance appropriating certain monies from the General Fund to the General Improvement Fund of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana and declaring an emergency." <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3979 <br />"An Ordinance transferring funds from C -11 Services - Personal (City Clerk) $238.64 to A -11 Services - Personal <br />(Office of Mayor) and establishing salary of Deputy City Clerks at $3600.00 each ;; all of the budget for 1954 <br />of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana and declaring it an emergency." <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Niezgodski <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to <br />adjourn, which motion was seconded by Councilman Bestle.
