COMMITTEE OF THE MHOLE MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 8TH, 1954 <br />94 -4 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting in <br />the Council Chamber, Monday, February 8th, 1954, at 8:17 P.M., with all members present. Chairman Hahn presided. <br />"An Ordinance transferring funds from E -215A Transportation Allowance - Bailiff $120900 to E -11 Salary of Bailiff <br />$120.00; from E -215B Transportation Allowance- Probation Officer:$520.00 to E -11 Salary of Probation Officer $520.00; <br />from ME -215 Transportation Allowance $1920.00 to ME -11 Salary of Chief Electrical Inspector $500.00 and to Salary <br />of .Assistant Electrical Inspectors $1420.00 all of the budget for 1954 of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />and declaring an emergency". <br />Councilman Erler made a motion that this ordinance be referred to committee on Fees and Salaries. Coune3 loran <br />Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3962 <br />"An Ordinance amending Chapter 29 of General Ordinance No. 3709 known as the 1949 Municipal Code of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana by adding thereto Section 38A entitled "Yielding Right of Way'". <br />Councilmen Muszynski made a motion that this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Erler seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 3'963 <br />"An Ordinanee`-amending Section 36 of Chapter 29 of General Ordinance No. 3709 known as the 1949 Municipal Code of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana by adding thereto a section to be known and designated as Section 36b Regulating <br />Parking of Vehicles on Certain Streets% <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn, <br />which motion was seconded by Councilman Muszynski.
