C)"q <br />U— COMMITTEE O-P THE WHOLE MEETING _ JANUARY 25TH, 1954 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting in <br />the Council Chamber, Monday, January 25th, 1954, at 8:02 P.M., with all members present. Chairman Hahn presided. <br />"An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana ". <br />Approximately 300 interested persons appeared before the Common Council relative to the rezoning of East Jefferson <br />Blvd. between Tuxedo Drive and 25th Street for erection of -the osteopathic hospital. <br />5,- MINUTE RECESS - 10 :05 P.M. <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion for a five minute recess. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />RECONVENED MEETING - 10:20 P.M. <br />Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance be referred to the Council with recommendations that the Council <br />return this ordinance to the Plan Commission for further study. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn, <br />which motion was seconded by Councilman Muszynski.
