COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />AUGUST 10TH. 1953 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting <br />in the Council Chamber, Monday, August 10th, 1953, at 8:04 P.M. with all members present. Chairman Hahn presid <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3935 <br />"An Ordinance transferring funds from Police Department P -11 Salaries $3500.00 to P -724 Motor Equipment; from <br />Public Health Clinic U -342 Laundry and Cleaning $1250'00 to U -38 General Supplies $125.00 and from U -343 Medical <br />$185.00 to U -12 Temporary Help $185.00; all of the budget of 1953 of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana% <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the ordinance be held up until Chief Gillen arrives. Councilman Bestle <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Upon the arrival of Chief Gillen and an explanation to the Council, Councilman Korpal made a motion that the <br />ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the "Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn, <br />which motion was seconded by Councilman Muszynski.
