COMMITTEE OF THE MOLE NESTING <br />JUNE 8TH, 1953 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Couneil,of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, June 8th, 1953, at 8:09 P.M., with all members present* Chairman Hahn <br />presided. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3927 <br />"An Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, appropriating the, sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars <br />($1509000900) to be applied on the cost of acquisition of land and equipment necessary for the collection and <br />disposal by said City of garbage in said City, and expenses incurred in connection therewith ". <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3929 <br />"An Ordinance transferring funds from Q -11, Services Personal, Fire Department, to Q -724, Motor Equipment, Fire <br />Department, in the amount of $16,700.00, an emergency appropriation of $3,200.00 from General Street and Traffic <br />Fund to 5 -251, Repairs of Buildings and Structures, Street :Department, of the budget of 1953 of the Civil City <br />of South Bend, Indiana ". <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Bestle seconded the <br />motion. Motion parried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Bestle made a, motion to adjourn, <br />which motion was seconded by Councilman Korpal.
